The Xtech Tactical MTX 19 +5 is a magazine extension for 15-round 9mm Glock 19 magazines that adds 5 rounds to the factory magazine. A two-piece housing carries a patented Leading Edge on the inner housing that reaches into the magazine tube, removing the catch point between the extension and the magazine body so feeding is not interrupted at that transition. The design needs no changes to the factory follower, so your factory parts stay untouched. It fits everything that works with a Gen 4 Glock factory magazine, including Glock factory 15-round magazines and Xtech MAG 19-15 magazines.

The extension locks on with 5 points of engagement: magazine body tabs, the spring and spring button, interlocking keys between the inner and outer housing, the leading edge, and the baseplate rails, where many extensions use only two. An extended 17-7 stainless steel spring is included, and the polymer extension uses a proprietary baseplate material for added durability. The texture, tread pattern and side scallop help you index the magazine by feel and keep a grip on it with or without gloves. Xtech states it passed over a dozen fully loaded five-foot drop tests onto concrete, it is made in the USA, and it carries a lifetime warranty.
