The Winchester Model 70 Super Grade AAA Claro 6.8 Western pairs the legendary Model 70 action with a richly figured gloss AAA Claro walnut stock. Its 24" polished blued barrel and jeweled bolt body reflect classic styling, while the pre-’64 controlled round feed and controlled ejection deliver the smooth, reliable cycling that has defined this rifle line for generations.

This Model 70 configuration is built for hunters and precision-minded shooters who appreciate traditional craftsmanship. The free-floating barrel with recessed target crown supports consistent accuracy, and the Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad helps soften the 6.8 Western’s punch during extended range sessions or long days in the field. From big game hunting to serious practice at distance, it offers a refined shooting experience backed by Winchester’s long-standing reputation for quality bolt-action rifles.
