The Weatherby 307 Alpine MDT is a bolt-action rifle built on Weatherby's newest platform, the Model 307, and chambered in 6.5 PRC. Its 22" fluted barrel wears Graphite Black Cerakote, and the bolt and bolt knob share that finish so the metalwork matches. The 3 piece bolt design allows completely tool-less takedown, so you can break the bolt down without carrying tools, and an M16 style extractor provides positive extraction and reliable ejection. A universal Accubrake with suppressor ready threads uses a radial design to disperse gas evenly and reduce felt recoil by up to 53%, and the threads leave you set up to add a suppressor.

The MDT HNT26 chassis system is a lightweight vertical grip chassis with an adjustable cheekpiece and adjustable LOP, so you can fit the rifle to your shoulder. The foldable buttstock allows compact storage and easier packing, and the integral ARCA rail on the forend lets you attach the rifle quickly to a tripod. You get a 2 position safety, and the trigger guard and receiver are finished in Graphite Black. The Graphite Black Cerakote on the barrel, bolt and bolt knob is a thin-film ceramic coating.
