The Vang Comp Systems Big Speed Safety is a purpose-built oversized safety button for Remington 870, 1100, and 11-87 shotguns. Its large, dome-shaped steel head is easy to find by feel, giving shooters a more positive and intuitive way to engage or disengage the safety without shifting their firing grip. The polished blue finish complements classic Remington receivers while maintaining a low-profile, snag-resistant shape.

This drop-in safety is designed for right-hand use and is ideal for shooters who want more confident control of their shotgun during training, home protection, or general range use. The rounded profile helps prevent catching on clothing or case liners, while the increased surface area improves ergonomics for many hand sizes. Backed by Vang Comp’s reputation for thoughtful shotgun enhancements, the Big Speed Safety offers a simple upgrade that focuses on usability and refined design.
