Product Details
The Truglo Hip-Shot is a dedicated crossbow shooting rest, sold under Truglo part number TG8930XB. A crossbow carries its weight well forward of the shooter's hands, which makes long offhand holds tiring and shaky, and a rest built for the job takes that load off the arms so the shot can be lined up deliberately.
For hunters who spend long sits waiting on a shot, a supported rest is one of the simplest ways to tighten groups and make a clean, confident release when the moment comes. Sports South lists the Hip-Shot specifically as a crossbow shooting rest, so it is sold for crossbow use rather than as a rifle bipod.
