This Trijicon fiber sight set is made for the Smith & Wesson M&P C.O.R.E and M&P M2.0 Optics Ready pistols, and it comes from Trijicon's line built for suppressor-equipped pistols and for backup use with a red dot. The front post carries a green fiber 0.060" in diameter, paired with a subdued black rear so your eye goes to the front sight and the target. The rear sight is non-illuminated and uses a square notch to frame that bright front post.
Trijicon builds the sight with its metal construction and fiber technology, and says this maximizes retention and durability through rough handling and aggressive holster use. The steeply hooked front surface of the rear sight lets you cycle the slide with one hand in an emergency. Rounded edges on the rear sight reduce snag points, which makes the pistol more comfortable to carry concealed. Trijicon recommends professional installation for this set.
