Trijicon's HD Night Sights put three green tritium lamps on the Springfield Echelon for a usable sight picture from daylight to full dark. The taller front blade carries an aiming point ringed in orange photoluminescent paint, so the front sight jumps out first and pulls the eye to it, even in transitional lighting.

The rear sight is outlined in black with a wider U-shaped notch that frames the front post fast and keeps focus where it belongs. Its front face is steeply hooked so the slide can be racked one-handed off a belt or holster edge, and the tritium phosphor-filled glass lamps are protected against heavy recoil and carry a 12-year warranty from date of manufacture.
