Product Details
The Stern Defense 006 .45 ACP barrel is a stand-alone 8.50" barrel for builders putting together, or reconfiguring, a dedicated .45 ACP AR-15 pattern upper. Stern builds its line around pistol-caliber AR uppers, and this barrel lets a builder run the big-bore .45 ACP cartridge from a compact AR-style host.
At 8.50", the barrel keeps the build short and handy. Under 16", it makes a stocked rifle a short barrel rifle under the NFA, so match it to a compliant pistol build or a registered SBR before installing.
