Product Details
The Stern Defense 006 9MM barrel is a stand-alone 8.50" barrel for builders putting together, or reconfiguring, a dedicated 9MM AR-15 pattern upper. Stern cuts its 9MM barrel throats with an extended free bore, giving longer-ogive bullets room to chamber fully instead of stalling against the rifling before the round is seated.
At 8.50", the barrel suits a compact pistol-caliber build where overall length matters. Under 16", it makes a stocked rifle a short barrel rifle under the NFA, so match it to a compliant pistol build or a registered SBR before installing.
