The Steiner T6Xi 1-6x24 is a first focal plane riflescope with a 1-6x magnification range, a 24 mm objective lens and a 30 mm main tube. Its KC-1 MIL reticle was developed with Jon Dufresne of Kinetic Consulting for quick target acquisition at 1x and precise shooting and identification at 6x. Illumination offers 4 night and 7 day levels, is adjusted with a rotary dial and runs on a CR2450 battery. The exit pupil runs from 10.3 mm at 1x to 4.5 mm at 6x, with 3.4 to 3.9 in. of eye relief.
Elevation turrets come both exposed and capped in the box, and the low-profile never-lost design has a resettable zero and a second rotation indicator. Each click moves 0.1 mrad, and the scope offers 30 mil of both windage and elevation range. A throw lever speeds magnification changes, even with gloves on, and a diopter locking ring keeps the focused setting from shifting across a +2 to -3 range. The aluminum body is nitrogen filled and submersible to 33 ft, a lens cap is included, and the scope is made in the U.S.A.
