The Steiner P4Xi is a compact 1-4x24 riflescope in a second focal plane layout, aimed at patrol rifles and AR platforms. Its one-piece 30mm tube is nitrogen filled and rated submersible to 33 ft, and the scope is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof. The illuminated P3TR reticle is designed for tactical rifles and close-quarters work, with stadia matched to 5.56 mm and 7.62 mm loads so the shooter can hold for distances out to 600 yards. The zoom runs from a true 1x for close range up to 4x, which the maker pairs with 400-yard accuracy at the top magnification.

Illumination is set with a rotary dial offering 11 levels, split into 5 day, 4 low-light and 2 night-vision settings, with an off position between each that disconnects the CR2032 battery. The low-profile turrets give 0.5 MOA clicks and 100 MOA of elevation and windage travel at 100 meters, and parallax is fixed at 100 yds. Eye relief stays at 3.5 to 4.0 in through the zoom range, and the diopter adjusts from +2 to -3. The body is aluminum in a matte black finish, and the optics are multi-coated.
