The Sons of Liberty Gun Works MK1 CAR is a 5.56 NATO short barrel rifle with an 11.50" barrel and a 30-round magazine, set up as a complete, ready-to-shoot carbine. The medium-contour barrel is chrome-lined 4150 steel with P3 rifling and a 1:7 twist, and the semi-auto action runs a carbine-length direct impingement gas system. A pinned and welded HUXWRX muzzle device on 5/8x24 threads keeps the muzzle device fixed in place. The package includes an Aimpoint ACRO C-2 enclosed red dot with a 3.5 MOA dot in an Orange Cerakote housing, supplied with a B&T 39mm Picatinny mount, plus a GBRS Group Lerna mount made for the ACRO that gives you a second option for setting optic height on the rail.

The Liberty 2-stage trigger has a 4.5 lb total pull, and the ambidextrous Badger selector lets you run the safety from either side of the rifle. The MK1 10.75" rail has a continuous M1913 Picatinny top rail, 7-sided M-LOK slots, integrated cable routing and laser texturing, so you can mount accessories along its length and keep cables tidy. An A5-length buffer system with an A5H2 buffer and stainless steel action spring manages recoil, and the SBR configuration comes with a Magpul MOE-TR stock on a 9-position A5 receiver extension. The billet receiver set is finished in black anodize, and a Die Free Co Kung Fu and Tiger Claw grip set in Blaze orange carries the optic's orange accent onto the black rifle.
