The Sons of Liberty Gun Works MK1 CAR SBR is built around SOLGW's billet upper, lower and rail receiver set and the MK1 cable management rail: a 10.75" handguard with a continuous M1913 top rail, 7-sided M-LOK slots, integrated cable routing for lights and pressure switches, and laser-engraved texturing. The 11.50" medium-contour Recce-profile barrel is chrome-lined with SOLGW's 3-groove polygonal P3 rifling, runs a carbine-length gas system and is threaded 5/8x24 under a HUXWRX muzzle device.
An NP3-coated bolt carrier group and SOLGW's A5 receiver extension and buffer system keep the short barrel cycling smoothly with a soft recoil impulse. The Liberty two-stage trigger breaks at 4.5 lbs total, and the Liberty charging handle, Badger ambidextrous selector, B5 grip and collapsible Magpul MOE-TR stock round out the controls in an Anodized Gray finish. It ships with one 30-round PMAG and transfers as an NFA item.
