The SOG Tactical Tomahawk takes its cue from the Vietnam-era tomahawk and updates it with a 420 stainless steel head on a fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle, secured with heavy-duty bolts and a steel ferrule. The result is a stout, well-balanced tool for chopping, breaching, digging and obstacle clearing.
Side hammer checkering gives positive placement when pounding, and the black finish cuts glare. A ballistic nylon sheath covers the head for safe carry on a pack or vehicle kit.
