The Savage Impulse Core Hunter Rifle 7mm PRC pairs a fast straight-pull bolt action with a 22" threaded heavy sporter barrel to deliver confident performance in the field. Its carbon steel barrel with straight fluting and Black Ink Cerakote finish is built for accuracy and durability, while the Flat Dark Gray AccuFit V2 synthetic stock offers a modern, ergonomic feel with adjustable fit. A detachable box magazine, integral 20 MOA rail, and user-adjustable AccuTrigger round out a feature set aimed at serious hunters who want precision and quick follow-up shots.

This 7mm PRC model uses a 2-round AICS-pattern magazine and a 1:8 twist barrel optimized for today’s high-BC bullets, making it well suited for medium to large game at extended ranges. The ambidextrous, multi-positional bolt handle and soft recoil pad help keep the rifle controllable and comfortable from field positions, while the tang safety is intuitive and easy to reach. Ideal for open-country hunting, range work, and skill-building practice, the Impulse Core Hunter reflects Savage Arms’ focus on practical innovation and shooter-focused design.
