The Rock Island Armory Melik MK9 9mm Luger pairs a full‑size footprint with a 4.90" stainless steel barrel and a 17+1 capacity, delivering a straightforward, DA/SA semi‑auto built around a serrated steel slide and aluminum frame with beavertail. A slide‑mounted combined safety and decocking lever, fixed front and rear sights, and black Melonite finish round out a practical, easy‑to‑run pistol.

This Melik configuration is well suited to range use, training, and general defensive roles where a high‑capacity 9mm and longer sight radius are preferred. The fixed sights keep the setup simple and durable, while the DA/SA trigger system offers a deliberate first shot followed by lighter single‑action pulls. Rock Island Armory’s reputation for value‑driven, reliable pistols makes the Melik MK9 an appealing option for shooters looking for a capable full‑size sidearm.
