The Remington 223 Rem 24" BBL Action No-Thrd 1-8 Tw For Rem 700 Blk is a barreled action built on the proven Remington 700 platform, giving shooters a solid foundation for a custom rifle build. It pairs a short-action receiver with a 24-inch sporter-contour barrel chambered in .223 Remington, offering a balance of rigidity, accuracy, and manageable weight. The fast 1:8 twist rate is optimized for modern, heavier .223 bullets, while the non-threaded muzzle keeps the profile clean and traditional.

This barreled action is ideal for hunters and precision shooters looking to assemble a lightweight, accurate rifle using their preferred stock, trigger, and accessories. The black steel receiver contrasts with the raw, unfinished barrel, ready for your choice of final finish. Because the bolt is not included, headspace must be checked and set by a competent gunsmith once a bolt is selected. Whether you are building a dedicated varmint rifle or a general-purpose range gun, this Remington 700-based action reflects Remington’s long-standing reputation for dependable performance and practical design.
