The Proof Research PR15 PXT is a carbon fiber barrel for AR-15 builds, chambered in .300 Blackout with a 12.50" length. Proof's carbon fiber construction gives a high stiffness-to-weight ratio, taking weight off the front of the rifle so it balances better and stays easier to carry and hold steady.

PXT is Proof's Exponential Twist rifling, a rework of conventional rifling geometry and twist progression that lowers engraving force, reduces throat erosion and eases the bullet's entry into the rifling. At 12.50" with a pistol-length gas system, this barrel suits a compact .300 Blackout build, where the cartridge is at its most efficient from a short tube and runs well behind a suppressor.
