This Proof Research pre-fit barrel is made for the Tikka T3X, giving T3X owners a 20.00" .308 WIN carbon fiber barrel in a Sendero contour with a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle. A pre-fit barrel is chambered for its specific action, so it arrives ready to install on the T3X.

PXT is Proof's Exponential Twist rifling, a rework of conventional rifling geometry and twist progression that lowers engraving force, reduces throat erosion and eases the bullet's entry into the rifling. At 20.00" the barrel keeps a .308 WIN hunting rifle compact enough to carry all day while giving the cartridge room for consistent velocity at practical hunting distances.
