The Proof Research PR15 is a 16.00" stainless steel barrel for AR-15 builds, chambered in .223 Wylde. The Wylde chamber is cut to run both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO while keeping the tighter throat that precision shooters want, so one barrel handles bulk range ammunition and match loads alike.
At 16.00" the barrel meets the 16.00" minimum for a standard rifle build without a pinned muzzle device, and the 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts the brakes, flash hiders and suppressor mounts most common on the AR-15.
