The Proof Research Elevation 2.0 is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .308 Winchester with a 16" barrel, built as a lightweight hunting rifle for the recreational hunter. The barrel is Proof Research's patented carbon fiber-wrapped, match-grade design in a Sendero contour, rifled with a 1:10 twist for .308 Winchester. It runs on a Zermatt Arms Origin action, and each rifle is test fired and backed by a sub MOA accuracy guarantee. The muzzle is finished and threaded 5/8-24 with a thread protector, so it is ready for a compatible muzzle device when you want to add one.

The rifle uses a TriggerTech trigger and a modified ball bolt knob for working the action. The Midnight carbon fiber stock has a 13 5/8" length of pull and is paired with Hawkins Precision BDL bottom metal with an M5 inlet. The BDL magazine uses a hinged floorplate, which lets you empty the magazine from the bottom. A single piece pinned rail base gives you a mounting point for your optic.
