The Proof Research 284 Caliber 1-9 Twist 26" Carbon Fiber Sendero Barrel is a purpose-built bolt-action barrel blank engineered for shooters who demand precision and reduced weight. Wrapped in high-strength carbon fiber over a 416R stainless steel core, this 26-inch Sendero contour barrel delivers match-grade accuracy while remaining significantly lighter than traditional steel barrels of similar profile.

This barrel is ideal for long-range hunting, precision rifle builds, and extended range sessions where consistent accuracy and manageable weight matter. The 1:9 twist rate is tailored for popular .284 caliber projectiles, while the carbon fiber construction promotes improved heat dissipation and stable harmonics during strings of fire. Ready for your gunsmith to thread and chamber, it reflects Proof Research’s reputation for innovation, meticulous engineering, and dependable performance in premium rifle components.
