The Proof Research 284 Caliber 8.4 Twist 24" Carbon Fiber Sendero Light Barrel is a precision bolt-action barrel engineered for shooters who demand consistent accuracy with less weight. Built on a stainless steel core and wrapped in carbon fiber, it delivers a rigid, match-grade platform while trimming significant ounces from a long-range rifle build.

This 24-inch Sendero Light contour barrel uses a 1-8.4 twist rate tailored to modern .284 caliber loads, supporting stable flight for heavier bullets at extended distances. The carbon fiber construction promotes faster heat dissipation and minimizes point-of-impact shift during strings of fire, while reduced harmonic vibration helps maintain tight groups. Ideal for long-range hunting, precision target work, and serious training, it offers a refined upgrade for custom bolt-action projects backed by Proof Research’s reputation for innovation and meticulous craftsmanship.
