The Proof Research 224 Caliber 1-8 Twist 20" Carbon Fiber Sendero Light BBL is a premium bolt-action barrel blank engineered for shooters who demand match-grade precision in a lightweight package. Built around Proof’s carbon fiber–wrapped steel core, this 20-inch Sendero Light contour barrel delivers excellent rigidity while shedding significant weight compared to traditional steel barrels, helping rifles balance naturally and track smoothly through the shot.

This barrel arrives ready for your gunsmith to thread and chamber to your preferred 224-caliber cartridge, making it an ideal foundation for custom precision builds, varmint rigs, or long-range target rifles. The 1:8 twist rate is optimized for modern high-BC projectiles, while the carbon fiber construction promotes rapid heat dissipation and consistent performance over extended strings of fire. Whether you’re refining a competition setup or assembling a dedicated range rifle, the Proof Research barrel combines advanced materials with meticulous fabrication that reflects the brand’s reputation for innovation and craftsmanship.
