The Proof Research 30 Caliber 1-9 Twist 28" Carbon Fiber Sendero Barrel is a purpose-built bolt-action barrel engineered for shooters who demand consistent long-range precision. Featuring a 28-inch Sendero contour wrapped in carbon fiber, it delivers a substantial reduction in weight while maintaining stiffness and match-grade accuracy. The 1:9 twist rate is optimized for popular .30 caliber projectiles, and the barrel arrives ready for your gunsmith to thread and chamber to your preferred cartridge.

This barrel is ideal for precision rifle builds focused on extended range shooting, competition, and serious range work where heat management and consistency matter. The carbon fiber construction promotes improved heat dissipation and reduced harmonic vibration, helping the rifle stay on target through longer shot strings. Whether you are refining a dedicated long-range rig or upgrading an existing bolt-action platform, this Sendero barrel reflects Proof Research’s reputation for meticulous engineering and high-performance barrel technology.
