The Proof Research 22 Nosler 1-8 Twist 22" Carbon Fiber Barrel is built for shooters who want a lightweight AR-15 barrel without giving up consistency. This 22-inch, carbon fiber–wrapped, medium-contour barrel uses a precise 1:8 twist to stabilize modern 22 Nosler loads while keeping weight down for easier handling in the field or on the range.

With a rifle +2 gas system tuned for the 22 Nosler cartridge, this barrel is designed to cycle smoothly and maintain reliable function across a wide range of ammunition. Standard 1/2-28 muzzle threads make it ready for common brakes and suppressor mounts, and the carbon fiber construction helps manage heat so groups stay tight during extended strings of fire. It is well suited for varmint hunting, practical competition, and precision-focused AR-15 builds where balance and accuracy matter. The design reflects Proof Research’s focus on modern materials, careful engineering, and repeatable performance.
