The Precision Armament A02004 thread adapter lets you run 5/8-24 muzzle devices on a barrel threaded 9/16-24. It is machined from pre-hardened stainless steel bar stock and is listed for AR-15 and universal fit. The compact design moves your muzzle device only .100" forward, which maintains full thread joint strength.

Wrench flats on the shoulder make installation and removal simple, and you can use the adapter with multiple devices. All threads are single point cut in one operation to tight UNEF Class-3 tolerances, which gives the threads concentricity and alignment. The adapter has a matte finish in black.
