The Precision Armament A02001 M4 muzzle thread adaptor steps a 1/2-28 barrel thread up to 5/8-24, so you can mount 5/8-24 muzzle devices on a standard AR-15/M16 barrel. It also suits suppressors and other alignment-critical muzzle devices, and it works with Precision Armament's 5/8-24 M11 and M41 Severe-Duty muzzle brakes. Internal and external threads are single-point cut in the same operation to tight UNEF Class-3 tolerances, which keeps your muzzle device concentric and aligned. The compact design moves the device only .100 inch forward, so the thread joint keeps its full strength.

The adaptor is CNC machined from pre-hardened HTSR 400-series stainless steel bar for heat and corrosion resistance. The PVD matte black finish is described as durable and corrosion resistant at high temperatures, which suits suppressor applications.
