The Nighthawk Custom BDS9 Government is a full-size, double-stack 9MM built for competition shooting, riding on a Monolithic Recon frame. Its 5.00" crowned match-grade bull barrel is finished with a fluted barrel hood. A tri-cut lightened slide carries a factory IOS plate cut for the RMR footprint, which holds the included Trijicon RMR Type 2 adjustable LED red dot with a 3.25 MOA dot and eight brightness settings. The package also includes a Modlite PL350-PLHv2 light that throws a 1350-lumen flood beam from a rechargeable 18350 cell.

Shooting controls start with a lightweight aluminum flat trigger, and the grip is black anodized billet aluminum. Sights are a Heinie Black Ledge rear and a red fiber optic front, with no night sights fitted. The pistol ships with two 17-round magazines. The slide and frame wear Silver DLC, while the barrel and controls are done in Black DLC for a two-tone look.
