The NcStar VG147 Folding Mil-Spec Stock Tube Black for AK-Platform is a purpose-built buffer tube adapter designed to bring AR-style collapsible buttstocks to compatible AKM pattern rifles. Engineered around a folding Mil-Spec stock tube mount, it attaches to stamped receivers with a square cut flat rear section and provides a solid, repeatable interface for your preferred AR-style stock.

This adapter is simple to install and uses a spring-loaded mechanism that folds the stock assembly to the left side of the receiver, helping reduce overall length for storage and transport. Integrated QD sling mounts on both sides of the adapter support flexible sling setups, while the Mil-Spec tube design ensures compatibility with a wide range of AR-style collapsible buttstocks. NcStar’s focus on practical, affordable accessories makes the VG147 a straightforward upgrade for shooters looking to modernize their AK-platform builds.
