The Mustang Armament Chesty Series is a premium billet fighting platform built for durability, suppressor performance and compact maneuverability. This 8" .300 AAC Blackout configuration puts powerful subsonic capability into a highly compact package optimized for suppressed shooting. A Betsy Ross theme billet receiver set and a 7" billet handguard carry a distinctive Black Camo Cerakote finish. Sighting duty goes to a Vortex AMG UH-1 holographic sight backed by a 3X magnifier on a riser.

The foundation is a Betsy Ross theme billet receiver set mated to a 7" billet handguard, both finished in Black Camo. The pairing gives the build tight machining tolerances, rigid construction and a custom Cerakote finish that sets it apart.

At its core sits an 8" Ballistic Advantage CHF 1:7.5R barrel with a DPT feed ramp and a NiB barrel extension, fed through a Mustang triple-screw gas block on a pistol-length gas system. That configuration keeps cycling reliable and performance efficient within the .300 AAC platform, and a YHM muzzle device supplies durable mounting with suppressor-ready compatibility.

Cycling is handled by a DLC-enhanced HPT/MPI bolt carrier group running against a BCM gas-busting ambidextrous charging handle, a combination that reduces blowback and keeps operation smooth when running suppressed.

Fire control is a Rise Performance 434 single-stage trigger breaking at 3.5 lb, paired with a Rise Armament ambidextrous safety selector for a crisp break with positive engagement.

Ergonomic enhancements include an enhanced magazine release, a Driven Arms pistol grip, enhanced takedown pins, an enhanced bolt catch, a Driven Arms foregrip for improved control and rail scales for better indexing and heat management.

Recoil impulse is tuned through an SB PDW brace configuration combined with a Kynshot hydraulic buffer and a Sprinco Yellow spring, producing exceptionally smooth cycling that is at its best suppressed.

Optics are configured around a Vortex AMG UH-1 holographic sight with a 3X magnifier on a riser, covering rapid close-quarters target acquisition and extended engagement capability, while a Holosun RAID 1000-lumen weapon light with tape switch supplies powerful illumination and fast activation.

The series is named in honor of LtGen Lewis "Chesty" Puller, one of the most decorated Marines in American history and a fellow Mustang Marine.
