The Mustang Armament Chesty Series is a hand-built, duty-grade lineup assembled from premium components selected to work together as one complete fighting system. This 12.5" 5.56 NATO build sets a Distressed FDE Betsy Ross billet receiver set against a matching 11.5" billet handguard for a balance of maneuverability, velocity and reliability. A cold hammer forged spiral-fluted barrel on a mid-length gas system, a silent captured buffer and an SBA5 brace keep the impulse flat and the cycling smooth. A complete fighting package finishes it, headlined by an EOTech EXPS2-2 holographic sight with a 3X magnifier on a DOT riser.

The platform starts with a billet receiver set carrying Mustang's Betsy Ross theme in a rugged Distressed FDE finish, topped by a matching 11.5" billet handguard. The result handles as well in close quarters as it does on extended field work.

At the center is Mustang Armament's 12.5" Cold Hammer Forged Duty Precision Taper spiral-fluted barrel, HPT/MPI tested and run on a mid-length gas system. Measured against a traditional carbine-length setup, that pairing smooths the recoil impulse, improves reliability and delivers superior suppressor performance.

The operating system uses a DLC Enhanced HPT/MPI bolt carrier group with a lightened gas-busting ambidextrous charging handle, which cuts gas blowback and keeps cycling exceptionally smooth under demanding use.

Fire control is a Rise Performance 434 single-stage trigger breaking at 3.5 lb, matched to a Rise 69 degree ambidextrous safety selector for a crisp break and rapid follow-up shots.

Premium enhancements run throughout: a Battle Arms enhanced magazine release, a Driven Arms Co grip, Next Level Armament enhanced takedown pins, a Radian enhanced bolt catch, an Emissary hand stop, rail scales, a grip heat shield and a QD sling attachment.

The recoil system uses an SBA5 brace, a JP Silent Captured H2 buffer system and a PWS ratcheting castle nut, a combination that shoots exceptionally flat with outstanding recoil control and long-term reliability.

The fighting package is built around an EOTech EXPS2-2 holographic sight with a 3X magnifier on a DOT riser, a Holosun 1000-lumen weapon light with tapeswitch and a Holosun IRIS 1 red visible laser, so target acquisition stays fast, low-light performance stays dependable and handling stays consistent in any environment.

The series is named in honor of LtGen Lewis "Chesty" Puller, one of the most decorated Marines in American history and a fellow Mustang Marine.
