The Mustang Armament Chesty Series is the flagship duty-grade lineup, engineered for hard-use reliability, suppressor-ready performance and premium combat-focused refinement. This 12.5" 5.56 NATO configuration wears a Battleworn Grey / Black finish over a Betsy Ross theme billet receiver set and an 11.5" Battleworn billet handguard. Tuned recoil characteristics, advanced optics capability and premium component integration come together in a highly refined fighting platform. Sighting duty goes to an EOTech EXPS2-2 holographic sight backed by a 3X magnifier on a riser.

The foundation is a Betsy Ross theme billet receiver set mated to an 11.5" Battleworn billet handguard. That pairing gives the build rigid construction, tight tolerances and a worn-in combat aesthetic meant for serious use.

At its core sits a 12.5" Mustang Armament CHF DPT spiral-fluted barrel, HPT/MPI tested and fed through a Mustang triple-screw gas block on a mid-length gas system. That configuration improves dwell time, recoil impulse and suppressor compatibility while holding on to exceptional reliability, and a YHM QD muzzle device adds suppressor-ready capability with excellent muzzle control.

Cycling is handled by a DLC-enhanced HPT/MPI bolt carrier group running against a BCM gas-busting ambidextrous charging handle, a combination that cuts blowback and keeps operation smooth under demanding conditions.

Fire control is a Geissele SD3G 2-stage trigger paired with an NLA titanium cam ambidextrous safety selector, delivering an exceptionally crisp trigger response with rapid follow-up capability.

Ergonomic enhancements include a Ballistic Advantage enhanced magazine release, a Lambda pistol grip, Next Level Armament enhanced takedown pins, a PWS enhanced bolt catch, an Emissary hand stop and rail scales for improved indexing and control.

Recoil impulse is tuned through an SBA5 brace configuration, an enhanced PWS ratcheting castle nut, a buffer tube and a JP captured H2 recoil system, producing exceptionally smooth cycling and reduced felt recoil.

Optics are configured around an EOTech EXPS2-2 holographic sight with a 3X magnifier on a riser, covering rapid target acquisition with enhanced mid-range capability, while a Streamlight 1000-lumen weapon light with tapeswitch supplies dependable illumination and rapid activation in low light.

The series is named in honor of LtGen Lewis "Chesty" Puller, one of the most decorated Marines in American history and a fellow Mustang Marine.
