The Mustang Armament Chesty Series is the duty-grade lineup, engineered for hard-use reliability, suppressor optimization and premium combat-focused performance. This 11.5" 5.56 NATO Black Camo configuration is a compact fighting platform tuned for a smooth recoil impulse, rapid handling and demanding operational environments. It is built on a Betsy Ross theme billet receiver set with a 10.5" billet handguard and runs a bleed-off adjustable gas block so the gas can be dialed in suppressed or unsuppressed. Optics duty goes to an EOTech EXPS2-2 holographic sight paired with a 3X magnifier on a riser.

The billet receiver set carries Mustang's Betsy Ross theme and mates to a 10.5" billet handguard, both wearing Black Camo. The pairing gives the build rigid construction, tight tolerances and a durable Cerakote finish consistent with the flagship series.

At its core is an 11.5" Mustang Armament CHF spiral-fluted barrel, HPT/MPI tested and fitted with a NiB barrel extension, running a carbine-length gas system through a Superlative Arms bleed-off adjustable gas block. That setup allows precise tuning for suppressed or unsuppressed use while significantly cutting gas blowback and recoil impulse, and a PWS 2-port QD muzzle device adds suppressor-ready capability with excellent muzzle control.

The operating system uses a DLC-enhanced HPT/MPI bolt carrier group with a Geissele gas-busting ambidextrous charging handle, keeping operation smooth and minimizing gas to the face under hard use.

Fire control is a Rise 535 Performance 3.5 lb single-stage trigger paired with a Magpul ambidextrous safety selector and Thenar support, giving an exceptionally crisp break and enhanced control during rapid fire.

Ergonomic enhancements include an enhanced magazine release, a Lambda Hex pistol grip, Geissele enhanced takedown pins, an enhanced bolt catch, a Driven Arms hand stop and rail scales for improved indexing and weapon control.

Recoil impulse is tuned through a Maxim PDW brace system combined with a JP captured H2 recoil system, producing exceptionally smooth cycling and compact storage capability without sacrificing performance.

Optics are configured around an EOTech EXPS2-2 holographic sight with a 3X magnifier on a riser, covering rapid close-range engagement and extended-range precision, while a Streamlight 1000-lumen weapon light with tapeswitch delivers powerful illumination and dependable activation in low light.

The series is named in honor of LtGen Lewis "Chesty" Puller, one of the most decorated Marines in American history and a fellow Mustang Marine.
