The Mustang Armament Chesty Series is a hand-built, duty-grade lineup assembled from carefully selected premium components that function together as one complete fighting system. This 12.5" 5.56 NATO build sets a striking Tungsten Camo Betsy Ross billet receiver set against a matching 11.5" billet handguard for a balance of maneuverability, velocity and combat reliability. A cold hammer forged spiral-fluted barrel on a mid-length gas system, a JP Silent Captured H2 buffer and an SBA5 brace keep the impulse flat and the cycling smooth. Sighting comes from a Dynamic Optronic Technologies EHS-1L holographic sight backed by a Unity FAST FTC 4X magnifier.

The platform starts on a Betsy Ross billet receiver set in a striking Tungsten Camo finish with a matching 11.5" billet handguard. Purpose-built for duty, training and defensive applications, it offers exceptional handling while holding on to superior ballistic performance.

At the center is Mustang Armament's 12.5" Cold Hammer Forged Duty Precision Taper spiral-fluted barrel, HPT/MPI tested and run on a mid-length gas system. That proven configuration provides a smoother recoil impulse, improved reliability and outstanding suppressor performance.

The operating system uses a DLC Enhanced HPT/MPI bolt carrier group with a lightened gas-busting ambidextrous charging handle, minimizing gas blowback while keeping cycling exceptionally smooth and reliable.

Fire control is the renowned Geissele SD3G 3.5 lb trigger matched to a Next Level Armament Titanium Cam ambidextrous safety selector, producing an incredibly crisp break, a lightning-fast reset and precise control.

Premium enhancements include a Battle Arms enhanced magazine release, a Driven Arms Co. grip, Battle Arms enhanced takedown pins, a PWS enhanced bolt catch, an Emissary hand stop, rail scales, a grip heat shield and a QD sling attachment.

The recoil system combines an SBA5 brace, a JP Silent Captured H2 buffer system, an enhanced buffer tube and a PWS ratcheting castle nut, creating an exceptionally flat-shooting build with excellent recoil control and long-term durability.

Sighting and illumination come from a Dynamic Optronic Technologies EHS-1L holographic sight, a Unity FAST FTC 4X magnifier and a Streamlight 1000-lumen weapon light with a remote tapeswitch. Together they deliver rapid target acquisition, outstanding situational awareness and dependable performance in daylight or low-light environments.

The series is named in honor of LtGen Lewis "Chesty" Puller, one of the most decorated Marines in American history and a fellow Mustang Marine.
