The Lyman 57GPR Receiver Sight is a precision peep sight designed specifically to bring new life and accuracy to traditional Great Plains–style black powder rifles. Built around a compact receiver-mounted aperture, it offers a clean, repeatable sight picture while keeping the rifle’s classic lines intact. Its blued aluminum construction and finely machined adjustments reflect Lyman’s long history of building practical, shooter-focused iron sights.

This model is ideal for black powder shooters who want more precise elevation and windage control than standard open sights can provide. The 1/4 minute micrometer click adjustments and quick-release slide make it well suited for careful range work, hunting, and general field use where consistent shot placement matters. Whether you are tuning a favorite Great Plains rifle or updating an older muzzleloader, the 57GPR blends traditional aesthetics with modern adjustability backed by Lyman’s reputation for dependable sighting systems.
