The KGM Suppressors R556A2 is a full-size 5.56 hard-use suppressor built to meet and exceed SOCOM specifications for full-auto durability, accuracy retention, sound suppression, and minimal disruption to the host rifle's operating system. Laser-welded Inconel and stainless steel construction gives the R556A2 a service life measured in tens of thousands of rounds, and the intelligent low-backpressure baffle design reduces over-gassing even on 10.5-11.5" SBRs — delivering sub-140 dB performance at the ear on even the shortest barrels. Beginning in 2024, the bore is EDM-cut to accommodate 6mm ARC cartridges alongside the standard 5.56 family, adding versatility to an already capable platform. A 1/2x28 QD flash hider is included, and C-Series Cerakote provides lasting heat and corrosion resistance.
