The Heckler & Koch SL8 .223 Remington 20.8" Rifle is a modern, precision-focused semi-automatic built on HK’s legendary G36 lineage. Its free-floating bull barrel is cold-hammer forged from HK cannon-grade steel, chrome lined, and finished with a match crown to deliver consistent accuracy and long service life. A short Mil-Spec optics rail, match trigger, and adjustable stock round out a clean, ergonomic package that keeps the shooter firmly in control.

This SL8 configuration uses a 20.8" barrel and 10-round detachable magazine, making it well suited for jurisdictions with capacity limits while still offering excellent performance for target shooting, training, and general range use. The gas-operated short-stroke piston system runs smooth and clean, reducing fouling and enhancing reliability over extended sessions. For shooters who appreciate refined engineering and thoughtful design, the SL8 showcases Heckler & Koch’s reputation for durability, precision, and innovation.
