The Heckler & Koch MR556 A4 is the semi-automatic expression of the HK416, running a short-stroke gas piston, an 11" cold hammer-forged 1:7 barrel, and an adjustable gas regulator that lets the action be tuned for suppressed fire, and this package finishes it as a complete night-capable weapon system instead of a pile of parts. Every component was chosen to work with the one next to it: the SureFire FH556RC four-prong flash hider is the Fast-Attach interface the SureFire SOCOM556-MINI4 suppressor locks onto, the Unity Tactical ModButton Lite SYNC dual-lead switch drives the Modlite PLHv2 and the EOTech OGL from a single pad, and the Unity Tactical FAST riser sets the EOTech EXPS3 at a 2.26" optical height so the holographic reticle, the laser, and a helmet-mounted night vision device all share one head position. Aiming is covered around the clock by the EXPS3's DCR ring-and-chevron reticle with its night-vision brightness settings, backed by the OGL's visible and infrared aiming lasers and adjustable IR illuminator. Handling is finished with an SB Tactical SBA5 brace, a Die Free Co grip and hand stop, an Arisaka Defense offset scout mount, and a SureFire lock-out tailcap, all assembled and priced as one complete package.
