Course Description:
Handgun 200 is designed to provide students with information, skills, and live-fire training to advance their defensive and competitive abilities. Students will build off of the skills introduced in Handgun 100 and experience extensive repetitions to build muscle memory. This course teaches students how to properly draw from a holster (mainly exposed), how to maximize efficiency on the draw, and allows students to apply their new skills in timed and stress induced drills on the range. Students will leave this course with confidence in their accuracy and precision.

- Proper Steps to Draw from a Holster (Exposed recommended)
- How to set up Gear (Belt, holster, etc)
- Strong/Support Side One Handed Shooting
- Magazine Changes (Retention and Emergency)
- Malfunction Drills
- Timed Shooting Drills
Equipment Needed
- Handgun (Rental handguns available upon request)
- At least 3 handgun magazines
- Holster and magazine pouches (At least one pistol magazine pouch recommended)
- Strong Side/ Concealed Holster must attach to the belt and provide sufficient retention to prevent the firearm from falling out. (Strong Side Holsters for a Glock 17 or 19 can be provided is needed)
- Eye protection and electronic ear protection (can be provided if needed)
- 200 rounds handgun ammunition (can be purchased the day of the course)
