The Gemtech SBC Suppressed Bolt Carrier 5.56mm is a purpose-built drop-in carrier designed to optimize AR-15 rifles running 223 Rem or 5.56 NATO, especially when used with a suppressor. Machined from durable steel with a black finish, this carrier-only assembly lets shooters quickly tune their rifle’s gas system without swapping gas blocks, buffers, or other components.

With selectable suppressed (S) and unsuppressed (U) settings, the Gemtech SBC helps reduce carrier speed, felt recoil, and gas blowback to the shooter’s face, bringing the cyclic rate of suppressed rifles down to unsuppressed levels in many setups. Ideal for dedicated suppressor hosts, training rifles, and serious range use, it offers a smoother, more controlled shooting experience while helping extend the life of your AR-15 components. Gemtech’s long-standing reputation for innovation in suppressed systems is reflected in the thoughtful engineering of this carrier.
