The Exigent Defense FireTeam556 was developed with B&T USA to bring the acoustic performance of the Vanish556 into a more compact, harder-wearing can. The body is a single DMLS-printed piece of Inconel 718 with no welded seams or stacked joints, so there is no baffle stack to shift or erode, and the alloy stands up to the heat, erosion and corrosion that wear out conventional rifle suppressors.

Venting routes gas into a controlled bypass off the bore axis, cutting back pressure and blowback on gas guns, and testing of the internal geometry showed a noticeably reduced flash signature. It mounts on 1.375x24 HUB (Bravo) threads with wrench flats, is full-auto rated, and runs on 5.56 NATO barrels as short as 10.30". This version wears a Cerakote C-190 Coyote FDE finish for abrasion and wear resistance in an earth-tone color.
