Course Description:
Everyday Carry is designed to provide residents of North Carolina the defensive mindset and skills to safely and effectively carry a handgun for personal protection. Students will learn how to properly conceal a handgun, how to safely draw a concealed handgun from a holster, and experience live-fire training to apply techniques and build skills. Experience down range and timed drills to maximize your EDC.

- Defensive Mindset
- Proper Gear Placement (Holsters, and Holster Placement)
- Precise and Repeatable Fundamentals (Stance-Grip-Draw)
- Proper Steps to Safely Draw a handgun from Concealment
- Magazine Changes (Retention and Emergency)
- Malfunction Drills
Equipment Needed
- Handgun (Rental handguns available upon request)
- At least 2 handgun magazines
- Magazine pouches (At least one pistol magazine pouch required)
- 150 rounds of handgun ammunition (can be purchased the day of the course) Holster (Appendix or Strong Side)
- Holster must attach to the belt or provide sufficient retention to prevent the firearm from falling out. (If you do not own a holster yet, we can provide a Strong Sided holster for a Glock 19 or 17)
- Eye and ear protection (can be provided if needed)
*Anyone under the age of 21 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian for the entirety of this course.
