This Daniel Defense M4 barrel assembly brings the company's cold hammer forged chrome moly vanadium barrel to an AR-15 build. The 14.50" government profile is chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 1:7 twist that stabilizes the full range of common 5.56 bullet weights, including heavier match and duty loads.
A mid-length gas system gives a softer, smoother impulse than a carbine-length system, and the assembly comes with its gas block, so it is ready for a handguard and muzzle device.
