The Dan Wesson 01853 Kodiak 10mm Auto pairs a long-slide 1911 design with a 6.03" bushing-less bull barrel to let full-power 10mm loads reach their potential. Its tri-tone black stainless steel slide and frame, serrated for enhanced control, ride over a Picatinny accessory rail and beavertail, while brown G10 grips and an extended magwell provide a confident, secure hold. Fully adjustable fiber optic sights and an ambidextrous manual safety round out this refined, purpose-built pistol.

This Kodiak configuration is tailored for shooters who want maximum velocity, flatter shooting characteristics, and a longer sight radius for improved precision. The 8+1 capacity, smooth single-action trigger, and included pair of magazines make it well suited for range work, hunting with appropriate loads, and serious training. Dan Wesson’s reputation for tight tolerances, hand fitting, and premium materials is evident throughout this 1911, delivering a pistol built for accuracy and long-term reliability.
