The CZ Duty 4.0F MS is a full-size, striker-fired 9mm pistol built around a serialized modular chassis, with an ambidextrous manual safety added to the Duty platform. Its 4" barrel is cold hammer-forged and non-threaded, and the slide carries a nitride finish. The optics-ready slide mounts a red dot directly, without adapter plates, for RMR, RMSc, DeltaPoint Pro and Holosun K footprints, using the included pin system. A trigger safety, trigger bar safety and firing pin block back up the manual safety.

Controls are fully ambidextrous, letting either hand run the manual safety, slide release and magazine release, and enhanced slide serrations aid manipulation. The sights are H3 tritium night sights cut low for a lower-third co-witness. The black polymer grip frame ships in medium size and belongs to a system with three interchangeable grip modules. One 19-round magazine and one 17-round magazine are included, and the slide's nitride finish resists wear and corrosion.
