The Cross Armory CRSM Safe Mag Mil-Spec AR15/M4 Black Aluminum is a dedicated magazine locking system designed for shooters in regulated states that require fixed magazines. Engineered for Mil-Spec AR-15 and M4 platforms, this low-profile unit replaces the standard magazine release and locks the magazine in place until the upper and lower receivers are separated, helping you stay compliant without giving up modern functionality.
Once properly installed, the Safe Mag automatically releases the magazine when you pivot the upper receiver away from the lower, allowing fast, tool-free magazine changes while the action is disabled. When the rifle is closed, you can still insert a loaded magazine without stressing the receiver or hardware. Ideal for range use, training, and general recreational shooting where fixed-magazine rules apply, this system reflects Cross Armory’s focus on smart, user-friendly innovation for today’s rifle owners.
