The Cross Armory CRFSPP Flop Stop Pin Pal Black Melonite Steel AR Platform is a purpose-built upper receiver stabilizer and front takedown pin set for AR-15 pattern rifles. The Flop Stop supports the upper receiver in the open position so it does not swing forward under barrel weight, helping prevent pinched fingers and keeping the rifle stable during required receiver separation procedures. Paired with the Pin Pal takedown pin, this kit offers a durable, repeatable interface at the front pivot point.

Designed around standard AR-15, M16, and M4 dimensions, the Flop Stop Pin Pal integrates smoothly with most compliance setups and other accessories. The Pin Pal is machined from 4140 ordnance steel with a melonite hard coat, and uses a locking nut and lubricated captive bearing to reduce wear at the pivot. This combination makes the kit well suited for range use, training, and administrative handling where the upper must be opened frequently, while reflecting Cross Armory’s focus on thoughtful engineering and dependable firearm accessories.
