The Crickett KSA2179 My First Rifle Gen2 22 LR is a compact, single-shot bolt action youth rifle built to keep learning simple and safe. Its 16.13" stainless barrel pairs with a drilled and tapped receiver, giving families the option to start with iron sights and later add a scope. The hydrodipped Desert Storm camo synthetic stock is sized for smaller shooters and keeps weight low while standing up to regular range use.

This Gen2 Crickett adds practical upgrades like an EZ load feed ramp for easy chambering and factory-installed swivel studs for sling attachment. The manual cocking system and rebounding firing pin block encourage deliberate, thoughtful shooting habits, making it well suited for training, plinking, and small-game introductions under close adult supervision. Backed by Keystone Sporting Arms’ long focus on youth rifles since 1996, the KSA2179 reflects careful craftsmanship aimed at building confidence one shot at a time.
