The Colt Government Custom Engraved Competition Handgun .45 Auto blends the classic 1911 Government profile with a limited‑run engraved stainless slide and frame, paired with natural stag grips. Built around a 5-inch National Match barrel and Series 70 firing system, it is tuned for smooth cycling, a clean single-action trigger, and repeatable accuracy, while Novak adjustable fiber optic sights keep the front sight bright and easy to track.

This model is configured for competition-minded shooters who also appreciate presentation-grade details. The upswept beavertail grip safety, undercut trigger guard, and dual recoil spring system help manage recoil and support a secure, comfortable hold during extended range sessions or organized matches. With its engraved metalwork, limited production, and Colt’s long history with the 1911 platform, this pistol offers both practical performance and collectible appeal.
